Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-17

This policy covers the gadnet.pl marketing website. The GADNET router software itself never sends your data anywhere — it runs entirely on your hardware. This page is only about what happens when you contact us or visit the site.

Who is responsible

Michał Maciak, a private individual operating GADNET as a personal open-source project, is the data controller. For any data-protection matter write to michal@gadnet.pl.

What we collect

Only what you give us directly. If you email michal@gadnet.pl we keep your email address and the contents of your message. The website has no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies. Hosting access logs (IP, user-agent, request path) are kept for 30 days and the IP is truncated after 24h.

What we do with it

We respond to your inquiry. If you opt in to release announcements (separate confirmation email) we send you a message when a major version ships — and nothing else.

Legal basis

GDPR Article 6(1)(a) — your consent for the release-announcement newsletter; Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in answering inquiries about a published project.

How long we keep it

Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe. Inquiry email: 12 months after the last reply, then deleted. Access logs: 30 days.

Your rights

GDPR Articles 15 (access), 16 (rectification), 17 (erasure), 18 (restriction), 20 (portability), 21 (objection). Exercise any of them by emailing michal@gadnet.pl — we will respond within 30 days.

Cross-border transfers

None. Hosting is in the EU. We do not use any third-party processor outside the EEA.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be announced on the site front page at least 14 days before they take effect.
